Hi! As you can see, I really haven't posted anything here on my page since last year. To tell you the truth, I really haven't done any artwork since I started my new job ( an IT position at that! ) six months ago, which has kept me super busy. I have dozens and dozens of artwork in various stages of production, most of which I worked on during the first part of this year.  





With my new job came an increased salary , whereby I was finally able to upgrade all my Adobe Suite products up to CS5 ( I don't think I will  do the "Adobe Cloud" thing with CS6 though ), not to mention also upgrading my Corel Painter to ", X3" , my old Poser 7  up to " Poser Pro 2014", and my Manga Studio up to EX5.

I really haven't had much time to time to much with Manga Studio, but I did manage to use it to do a quick digital sketch, in order so  that I could get a feel of the software's many tool functions:

My goal for the coming year, as in previous ones, is to fully learn all the art software that I now currently have  in order for me to become a better artist.

Anyway, here's to wishing everyone a Happy New year 2014, and hoping, as I do, you will all continue to be able to continue to create many inspiring works of art.

Well, for my first Journal Entry in months, today is the date of  "The Mayan Apocalypse "!!





Fortunately, it seems to have been avoided, if not postponed....Good for everyone, I guess!
Yet I have a distinct feeling that more than just a few people were looking forward to it, and now are actually disappointed.




By the way, the next date(s) for DOOM will be  on April 13th, 2029 ( which happens be Friday the 13th ), and/ or April 13, 2036 ( which just so happens to be Easter Sunday! ). Why are those dates special?  well, the near-Earth asteroid Asteroid "Apophis" will actually pass within 40~000 km of the Earth. Now according to the Apophis wikapedia article, the odds of impact are 1 in 250,000, and there are actually  *7* other  asteroids with a more notable Palermo Technical Impact Hazard Scale than Apophis.... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/99942_Ap…

Hmmm...It's been half a year since I updated this Journal. I admit I've been pretty negligent these past few months. I have been drawing and doing art, but it takes me so long to do one picture, I'm sure I would have starved to death  a long time ago if I ever was a professional artist ( But then again, If I was a professional artist, I most likely would be at a much better skill level and speed because of the necessity and timeliness of the  commissioned work).
I have a tons of half - finished pictures floating around, and one of my many New Years Resolutions ( which will most likely last only a few weeks , as usual ) is to start a picture and work on it straight through until I actually finish it  before I start working on another one. All too often I begin work on a picture, and halfway though I either get distracted away by something, or I get frustrated on how the picture is turning out, or I just get tired and bored on working on the same picture .
Another of my resolutions is to try to do more  the type of pictures I often did  when I was a kid like spaceships, weird monsters-creatures, futuristic  cities  and space scenes ( before puberty hit, and I was far more interested in drawing boobies hahaha )

Anyway, It's the year of the Water Dragon according to the Chinese Calendar, but by the Ancient Mayan Calendar, it is the LAST YEAR before the END of the WORLD.
Well,  I have about a year to get my act together and do some decent artwork. And even post some of them here.

I really better start  'Crackin' , before it's too late!

Hi Everyone!
It's the first day of Summer! Yay! ( actually, I think  tomorrow is the first day of Summer! )
Sorry I haven't done a Journal entry in months (  I think it's been eight months since my last one! )
I've been pretty busy and pretty lazy at the same time
Actually, I've been doing alot of drawings and also actually getting around to  trying to learn all the Computer Art software that I have.
I'm concentrating on Autodesk 3ds Max, Autodesk Maya, and  Maxon's Cinema 4D, along with Zbrush.
2D wise, I've been currently studying the manuals for Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,  Sai, and Manga Studio ( I upgraded from Manga Studio 3.0 EX up to 4.0 EX. )
Don't fret - I'll soon be uploading more artwork in a few weeks than I have the entire time I've been here on Deviantarts!
Hopefully, It's going to be a very productive summertime for me!
